Bipasha Basu, this name is synonymous with being the most desirable Indian actress today, a tag she could share with Kareena kapoor. Bipasha’s birthday is on January 7th 1979. She was born in New Delhi and has two other sisters, one elder and the other younger.

In academics she was always a good student and spent the better of her schooling time at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Kolkata. She was the prefect at the same school and later when on to become the head girl which show she has leadership capabilities and was trusted among the teachers of the school. Till in school she had the intent to become a doctor and till 12th standard she took up the science stream. But when she started attending college she didn’t like the idea of dissecting so she changed her stream into commerce. Thereafter she started pursuing Chartered Accountancy until on a fateful day she met the famous model Mehr Jessia.

Mehr jessia suggested to her that she could try her hand at modeling as by that time she had shot up in her height and also started to look far more attractive than in her school days. Somehow she liked the idea and may be a famous model tipping her gave her the confidence. She won a few beauty contests and then also took part in the Godrej Cinthol Supermodel contest and of all contestents she won it. This gave her a contract to be a participant at the Ford Supermodel of the World in December 1996 and she won there too. She started her modeling career at the age of 16 when most us are still trying to figure out what we want to be in life. After that Bips as her friends call her was the toast of the world, modeling assignments in New York, Paris, London and Milan all of these cities are fashion capitals of the world and Bipasha was there, working with all of them.

Over a period of time Bipasha got bored and exhausted of the hectic traveling and ramps and photo shoots. There’s where Bollywood came into the scene for the first time. Bipasha had even considered opening a restaurant because she thought the dark color of her skin not be accepted in mainstream Bollywood which a fascination for light colored beauties. She first release was along side many Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor & Bobby Deol. Her first film won her the Filmfare award for Best Debut by an actress, so it was a resounding start to her career for sure. Her next release too was a commercial success, Raaz was a thriller direccted by Vikram Bhatt. The movie was one the top grossing movies of 2002. In December of 2006 her movie No Entry was release and it was a multi-starerr having the likes of Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol and Lara Dutta.

This was an out and out hillarious movie and had the ingredients of a typical Hindi masala movie and a super hit too. She also was the lead actress in Aditya Chopra’s action thriller Dhoom 2 which was another superb commercial success. She has also appeared in a number of music videos and item numbers in Bollywood movies. But where the acting skills of this gorgeous gal came to fore was in the movie Coporate directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. This movie was simply outstanding and Bipasha proved that she had acting skills in her repertoire.

She relationship with her boy friend and model turned actor John Abraham is well publicized. She is a Hindu while John is a Christain but both their parents have given the approval to their relationship and it remains just a matter of time when the two shall be one.

Bollywood actress Ayesha takia was born on april 10, 1985 in Mumbai. She belongs to a mixed family because her father, Nishit is Gujarati and her mother, Faridah is half British and half Maharashtrian. Ayesha Takia must not be confused with Ayesha Julka who is another bollywood actress. She has a younger sister Natasha who was born on February 5, 1988. Ayesha Takia completed her education from St. Anthony’s High School and never went to college because she started to work at sixteen. She started work in a music video of Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye at the age of fifteen. She signed contracts for Socha Na Tha, Taarzan: The Wonder Car at the start of her filmy career. Taarzan released first so it is her debut film. She won the 2004 Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance in Taarzan. Then she performed in a number of movies but they didn’t do good business at box office.

In 2006 she won many awards by perfroming the role of a widowed Rajasthani woman living in a traditional joint family in Dor film. She also won Zee Cine Critics Award for best actress. Her movie Dor showed her as a serious actress. According to some experts she showed only five percent of her talent in this movie. It means she has much more talent and she is improving continuously. In 2006 Ayesha Takia was in top ten on the list of 50 most desirable living women of India. Now she is one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood and every filmmaker likes to take her in her movie.
